I love the title’s hint to Yuval Noah Harari’s books (my favorite!), and even more so the approach to simplify life.

To the people that hate the diet debate, and rightfully say that ‘diets do not fit all,’ I would argue that intermittent fasting is no diet. It is a way of life, rather natural and organic its habit.

Being an Ironman athlete, I even find that this has positive effects on my performance. Especially as an endurance athlete, one must get comfortable with a fasted state. The National Institute of Health released a study claiming that long-term exercise training in the fasted state in healthy subjects is associated with greater improvements in insulin sensitivity, basal muscle fat uptake capacity, and oxidation.
