Our Whereabouts Became Flexible — Our Timing is Next.

The flexibility of location and time will accelerate the running sport.

While enabling employees to work remotely became commonplace across 2020 (and will continue this year and beyond), the next wave of flexibility will be around when employees are expected to work. Could there be any better development for the running sport?

I’d argue the reason why running is so popular is due to its flexibility. Combine that with ‘work from home’ and ‘flexible working hours,’ and you may have a recipe for a running boom. No wonder plenty of articles already wrote about it…

Instead, let’s talk workforce and running. As mentioned, the greater workforce is enjoying unparalleled flexibility due to the loosened concept of location and time. With that, there have never had more opportunities to run. From the top-down, we have never had this much support. There may have never been more chance to get fit. Can we capitalize on this?

What’s the view from the top?
